Gwynn's Island is located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's middle peninsula. 
I painted this one hot afternoon from the old Chesapeake cottage's sun room while looking towards Gwynn's Island.  It was late in the day and the bay was showing me all of her magnificent stripes of blues, greens, and aquas that I could chase all day.
