The dark red coleus and the deep crimson red of the petunia in this painting made me sense  the cool air of fall 
it curled under my nose 
and whispered to me that change is coming 
We'll walk inside 
The skies will fill heavy with winter colors again
The glow of kitchen lights dot the streets 
We'll be back next spring
